Um I dont think the humans are stupid.
If I were the commander then yes you got away with Aesir but by now I would have all the supplies in every village and all the feilds burnt and orders to destroy any stores in citys rather than allow them to be taken.
Though we can of course eat human flesh...
It may just be simpler to decide that supplies aren't an issue though.

Obviously since Anguis is getting fairly embroiled in the war so would his brother in 'heaven' I'd imagine.

The supplies from Aesir would be ripe for the taking as i doubt destroying supplies would be a high priority for the humans whilst fleeing for their lives from a ransacked city.
Yeah, some human heroes and god-like creatures are in order methinks.
